Job Description

Mergersamp; Acquisitions Attorney: Our best client is seeking an experienced deal attorney to lead M amp;A transactions. The attorney must be able to work collaboratively with tax and estate planning counsel to structure and execute transactions.Candidates must also be able to advise clients regarding the practical business issues relating to acquisitions. The ideal candidate would have significant experience selling companies to private equity firms with rollover equity as part of the consideration.Responsibilities and Duties Include:

  • Representing clients in mergersamp; acquisitions, financings, and real estate transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating various agreements
  • Forming and maintaining business entities and advising and strategizing with clients on potential opportunities
  • Advising clients regarding corporate governance and business succession planning
Requirements:
  • Called to the Alberta Bar, in good standing
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Highly team-oriented
