Job Description

Unity Aviation Canada Ltd is looking to fill the position of Office Administrator/Human Resources. This role will implement and oversee Human Resources duties as well as support payroll processing. The Office Administrator will also process routine transactions within the accounting system.Additionally, this role will prepare, review, and/or edit various forms of correspondence such as letters, invoices, presentations, publications, and reports. This position will administer and manage inbound & outbound mail and other correspondence.Human Resources, Benefits, and Payrollï‚· Implement and oversee employee programs, including skills developmenttraining, health and safety programs and group benefitsï‚· Maintain human resources information and related records systems incompliance with applicable legislationï‚· Stay abreast on compliance requirements and industry best practices;recommend changes or modifications to existing policies and programs toremain in compliance; and adopt best practices where feasibleï‚· Back up for processing semi-monthly payroll for all salaried and hourly employeesï‚· Respond to employee and government agency inquiries in regards to payrollAdministrationï‚· Prepare, review, and/or edit various forms of correspondence such as letters,invoices, presentations, publications, and reportsï‚· Administer and manage inbound and outbound mail, including priority post,packages, courier services, and other correspondenceï‚· Assist in the compilation of data for various reportsï‚· Prepare travel schedules, book travel arrangements, and make reservations forsenior management and executive staffï‚· Assist with project administration duties, such as timesheet summaries, and anydaily logs that need to be maintainedAccounts Payable and Receivableï‚· Record business transactions, process accruals and adjustments, reconcileaccountsï‚· Process and enter invoices for payment, match invoices with purchase orders,and check for accuracyï‚· Organize filing of all appropriate documentsï‚· Prepare monthly submissions for accounting and monthly remittancesExperience with Social Media would be an asset.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 24-32 per weekSalary: $25.00-$30.00 per hourBenefits:
