The Cam Clark Auto Group is growing! We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic People Services Generalist to join our People Services team.The People Services Generalist will help enhance the auto groups people processes as well as ensure an enviable employee experience in alignment with our core values. By building strong working relationships, the People Services Generalist will provide timely and relevant support to our managers and employees on topics such as benefits, policy interpretation and employee relations.Reporting to the Manager, People Services, this position offers a hybrid workplace within a challenging, rewarding, and collaborative environment.This is a newly created role within the People Services teamA little about the RoleBuilds strong working relationships, provides consultation and recommendations regarding people practices, processes, policies, and best practice.Act as a first point of contact to support employees and managers regarding questions, concerns and expertise pertaining to provincial laws and employment standards.Provide leadership with performance management support and guidance, as well as capability development activities/procedures.Supports leadership regarding employee relation issues such as disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans and terminations.Addresses complaints and conduct first level investigations as necessary relating to harassment, discrimination, etc.Draft letters; offers, performance, discipline actions and terminations.Reviews and ensures job descriptions are up to date, as well as policies and procedures and other documentation, as needed.Serves as back up to recruitment, completes exit interviews and special projects as assigned by researching, developing, and organizing information.What you BringPost-secondary education in HR with a minimum of 3 years advisory or generalist experience. Have or working towards CHRP designation considered an asset.Experienced in building strong relationships, providing meaningful consultative support and expertise, as well as mediating conflict.Ability to remain confidential and act with a high degree of integrity and professionalism, at all times.Comprehensive knowledge of British Columbia and Alberta Employment Standards legislation as well as HR principles and practices.Working knowledge of employment and labour legislation and practical application.Highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as on a team.Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Come be part of something great!
