Job Description

Proterra Energy Solutions specialize in the cleaning of above ground storage tanks, vessels, bullets, and towers for various companies in the Oil & Gas Industry throughout Western Canada. We can provide a ‘Full, All Inclusive’ service which comes with our extensive management experience, state of the art equipment and highly skilled work force.The OpportunityProterra Energy Solutions Inc is currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join the team. With a “safety first” approach, this position is responsible for overseeing the safe and effective product removal and cleaning of large-scale petroleum storage tanks. The successful candidates will be driven, results-orientated and team players. This position will involve travelling throughout Canada.This position is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing and coordinating of all aspects of project work from bid process through completion of project. Ensure project is completed in a safe manner according to the execution plan and applicable safety plan . Other responsibilities include the effective communication with customer, field crews and the operations group. Ensure appropriate/reliable equipment and fully trained personnel are on site.Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Procuring Materials and Subcontractors
  • Carry out Project Planning and Execution
  • Troubleshooting field concerns
  • Training field crews
  • Field work
  • Ensure safety focus is a priority, complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Industrial cleaning and experience
  • Computer proficiency
  • Automated cleaning experience (asset)
  • Well versed in technical writing and verbal communication
  • Procurement and accounting experience
  • Detailed knowledge of industry equipment
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • H2S Alive
  • Confined Space
  • CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015
  • LSE
