Learning Potential Foundation is looking for a Part Time Speech-Language Pathologist who will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to plan and carry out programs, enable and support learning for the child and family members in our ECS programs in Airdrie, AB. Current guaranteed hours are 15-20 hours per month (additional hours may be available as additional children enter our program until Dec 1).It is required to work as a team and in collaboration with the teacher to develop strategies, coach and support team members and parents in daily classroom plans. Collaborate with teacher to develop, implement, and evaluate Individual Program Plan (IPP) goals.Learning Potential Foundation is an ECS provider located in Airdrie, AB and travel will be required witin Airdrie.Qualifications-The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about working with children, teachers, and families.-A Degree/Masters (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology and proof of registration with ACSLPA are required.-1-2 years of field experience in rehabilitation including evaluation, treatment, case management, and program development is required.-Provide clearance from a criminal record check (including vulnerable sector search), must be current not exceeding 6 months-Hold current First Aid/CPR status.-Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills with an ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff and stakeholders-Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail-Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment-Analytical ability to evaluate clients with various diagnoses and establish an appropriate intervention plan-High level of professionalism and confidentiality with an ability to deal with sensitive client issues-Strong organizational, time-management and prioritizing skillsResponsibilities and Activities
