The Municipal Support Unit consists of a variety of positions and responsibilities within the detachment. We are looking for a dedicated and positive individual to join our team as a Watch Clerk to fill a term position (approximately 10 to 18 months).Watch Clerks form an integral part of the unit, supporting General Duty Patrol members working days, nights, weekends and statutory holidays. Watch Clerks are responsible for providing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and operational support in a dynamic and challenging workplace.This position will be responsible for relaying information to members on patrol regarding ongoing files to ensure RCMP members have all pertinent information as officer safety is critical. A high degree of accuracy and an eye for detail are required when preparing documents for court disclosure and entering data into several police database systems. The work involves tight deadlines, frequent interruptions with information arriving in multiple platforms requiring the need to quickly align with new priorities.Responsibilities include:
