Job Description

Propak Systems Ltd., an established leader in engineering, fabrication and construction of gas compression andprocessing facilities for the energy industry, is seeking a Shiploose Technical Coordinator to join our DraftingDepartment at our Airdrie office.The Shiploose Technical Coordinator requires general understanding of company operations and organizationprocedures. The position possesses detailed knowledge of the departments operations. Assignments includecapturing all the Shiploose items required on a project from any number of resources and entering the informationinto Propak’s Visual system.Key Responsibilities:

  • Significant liaison with construction and Project Engineering teams
  • Input all Shiploose item identified from a drawing into a Visual Manufacturing program
  • Updating Visual as request from Warehouse, Shop & Engineering
  • Complete Shop and Warehouse lists
  • Confirms that Visual accurately reflects all Shiploose items
  • Maintain and file drawings
  • Self-audits to confirm information gathered from a Shiploose/MSL report is accurate
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Post-secondary diploma relevant to fabrication, or construction administrative processes is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative for timely, efficient support of team projects
  • Eye for detail and attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing member in a flexible team environment
  • Ability to handle occasional interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize within tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of staff and management
as well as external clients
  • Ability to learn appropriate software, database, and spreadsheets programs
