Job Description

RST Landscapes is looking for Snow Clearing General Labourers for the Airdrie area to hire IMMEDIATELY for seasonal work.This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, mainly snow removal (manual or small handheld equipment) in winter for industrial, municipal, and commercial properties, while providing exceptional customer service.We are hiring for immediate start, snow clearing - ON CALL BASIS with an opportunity for guaranteed full time salary, based on reliability.If you are an individual who enjoys working outdoors and hard work, this may be the opportunity for you. Only candidates in Canada will be considered.Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices at all times
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Manual snow removal
  • Additional tasks as required
Basic/Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver’s License (class 5), reliable transpiration and ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract
  • Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or maintenance experience is an asset
  • Ability to take direction, give direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time
  • Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold temperatures.

  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 100 lbs
Job Type: SeasonalContract length: 6 monthsSalary: $22.00-$25.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
