The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for overall employee wellness across RVS. Focusing on wellness initiatives, and supports employees. This position will be located at the Education Centre in Airdrie. This position must have a valid Alberta Drivers License and reliable vehicle as some travel may be required.Responsibilities IncludeContributes to wellness practices as well as process improvementsOngoing development, support and promotion of wellness programsDevelops promotion and publicity plans for wellness programs throughout the Division.Provides educational presentations and training programsMaintains a high level of integrity, confidentiality and business professionalism in dealing with all stakeholdersDemonstrates and models a genuine appreciation for, and understanding of protocol, discretion and professionalism in RVSAdvises the employee about the RVS wellness programWork with the team to develop wellness initiatives for the DivisionAdministers web-based wellness applicationEducation/ExperienceCertificate or diploma in related fieldMinimum of two (2) years in a wellness or similar roleExperience in an educational setting would be an assetExperience in an HR setting would be an assetExperience in employee wellness would be an assetProficient in Microsoft Office and web based applicationsProven accuracy and consistency with data entry and managementRocky View Schools Benefits3 weeks Vacation pro-rated based on start date11 Earned Days pro-rated based on start dateHybrid (one day a week, working remotely) with Supervisor approvalFlex Benefits Plan (Extended health, Dental, Wellness/Health Care Spending Account, Tax Free Savings Account and Registered Retirement Savings Plan)Defined Pension PlanProfessional development and training opportunitiesFree parkingPre-employment RequirementsIn order to be selected as a candidate for an interview, candidates must submit proof of qualifications/education as required by the positionThe successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employmentOpen to: Internal and External applicantsSalary: $ 28.22 - $34.28 per hourHo w to ApplyWe request all applications be placed through http://rockyview.simplication.com/.
