Job Description

Are you passionate about the supply chain industry Looking for an opportunity in a thriving market Manpower is currently hiring overnight Package Handler (AM Sorter) for our client Purolator. This is a part-time position and is located in a fast-paced facility at 1075 Squires Beach Road, Pickering. Don #39;t miss this opportunity, apply today!What #39;s in it for you

  • Pay-rate: $18.00/hour + 4% vacation pay paid weekly
  • Shift: Monday to Friday - 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM
  • Weekly payroll deposit on every Friday
What is the job
  • Unload curbside vehicles/trailers
  • Load line haul trailers to ensure all pre-scheduled departures are met
  • Scanning/Cubing/Reweighing
  • Build positive relationships with team (couriers, lead hands, and sorters)
  • Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles
  • Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading
  • Adhere to all safety standards
  • Regular and reliable attendance

  • Quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Flexible to work additional hours or overtime
  • Able to pass a criminal record check
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50-70lbs repeatedly
  • Strong customer focus and communication
  • G license an asset but not required
  • Steel toed boots
