JOB DESCRIPTIONTitle: BILLING AND ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYSTDepartment: AccountingImmediate Superior: ControllerJOB SUMMARYReporting to the Controller, the billing and accounts receivable analyst is responsible for processing orders, invoicing, collections, payment reconciliation and application, and all other tasks associated to the order-to-cash cycle. The incumbent also assists in other accounting functions as needed.MAIN RESPONSABILITIES- Record orders.- Prepare Excel file production sheets for all locations.- Create invoices for all customers.- Post invoices in Sage software for all sites.- Maintain records of invoices, debits, and credits.- Preview invoices approved by the sales department for accuracy and completeness in accordance with contract terms.- Enter invoices and apply payments to accounts.- Assist in the research, follow-up, and resolution of discrepancies.- Follow up on delinquent accounts.- Maintain various files, spreadsheets, and documents.- Participate in special projects and other tasks as directed.- Understand processes and recommend process improvements where appropriate.- Respond to information requests and other inquiries in a timely manner.- Other office related duties as required.- Prepare bank deposits (CDN and US).- Enter payments for accounts receivable and clear invoices.- Send statements to customers and perform collection activities.- Monitor receivables by reviewing unpaid invoices.EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING- Accounting degree from an accredited college or university is an asset.- Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written.- You must have 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or order entry in a production environment.- Excellent skills in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word- Knowledge of Sage 300 and Mysis manufacturing- Ability to react with insight under varying circumstances.SKILLS- Interpersonal Relationships- Technological skills- Strong communication skills- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.- Strong attention to detail - Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.- Commitment to providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.- Excellent organizational and time management skillsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
