Job Description

WHAT TO EXPECTAs a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, your role is essential to help the company maximise its operational efficiency and help managers develop business strategies. You will also provide support to management teams so that they can use the data in the system to develop reports that guide them in their strategic decision-making. You will play an active role in projects to update the SAP S/4 HANA system, implement any new modules and integrate the various satellite systems. You #39;ll be joining a committed team with a heart for the job: they successfully transitioned an ERP system in just 9 months! At Soucy Techno we have a philosophy of continuous improvement, and we #39;re in thequot;acceleration quot; phase of our digital transformation. What #39;s more, we work with a research centre and a university to get all the support we need to develop our projects.Here #39;s an overview of your tasks:

  • Lead the implementation of the infrastructure to enable us to implement solutions in data management technology (Industry 4.0)
  • Analysing and documenting business rules and requirements for improvements or modifications based on user needs
  • Participating in the validation of functional specifications for developments and various change requests
  • Follow up as required with the various parties involved in ongoing projects or developments
  • Ensure that the best solutions are implemented and that the impact on the various departments is properly targeted
  • Provide support to users in response to their support requests
  • Develop and analyse solutions to develop and improve the SAP system
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR You #39;re a great believer in rigour and following best business practice, as well as the leadership you need to influence those around you to make the right decisions. You quickly grasp the issues presented to you and have a good ability to prioritise them. You particularly enjoy understanding how organisational processes work, so that you can add your colour and optimise them.You find ways of using the system #39;s data to produce reports that guide our managers in their decision-making.
  • You enjoy working with a creative team that dares to think outside the box
  • You have experience in data analysis and excel in the use of BI tools such as Excel, Power BI, QlikView, etc.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) to facilitate communications with technical support (an asset)
  • Demonstrate a high level of rigour and an interest in following best business practices
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to influence those around you to make the right decisions
  • Ability to quickly grasp emerging issues and prioritise them effectively
  • You are interested in learning ERP systems such as SAP
