Job Description

In this role, you will collaborate with the Manager of the Cloud Operations Team to be part of a small, but mighty, agile team of senior experts responsible for the integration and operation of a Public and Private Cloud Infrastructure. The work of this team – along with the teams Quebec and Ontario– helps to ensure the integrity, efficiency, and excellence of our IT systems so our people can effortlessly leverage technology to do their work and do it well.This is a great opportunity for someone who has advanced technical abilities but is also looking to grow in a multi-disciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and manage Tenants in running Cloud Native solutions
  • Ensure an appropriate level of reliability of technology, operating systems to meet current and future business needs
  • Take charge of change requests (RFCs), service requests, problem solving and incidents
  • Participate in technical implementation of large and complex Azure transformations, modernization projects.
  • Strictly maintain team standards to ensure continuity of operations
  • Develop, implement, support and document automation to increase the efficiency of platform management
  • Proactively Identify performance issues through the tenant
  • Be available for on-call support (Rotation)
  • Be available for changes outside of normal office hours
  • Document the various activities and procedures according to established standards
  • Implement best cloud computing practices
  • Assist in accelerating cloud adoption
  • Maintaining/Understanding the Terraform template, provisioning resources
We are looking for someone who can:

  • Be comfortable working in an environment of rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
The Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience with Azure or Cloud solutions, including Azure AD, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Web Apps, AKS, Key Vaults
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex systems
  • Knowledge of the IaaS and PaaS components of Azure
  • Knowledge in Automation such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, Azure CLI
  • Experience with Agile software development and release engineering (branching, versioning, tagging) with tools such as GitHub.
  • Multiplatform knowledge (RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows ...)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of DevOps
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Good planning and organization of work
  • Ease of working in a team
  • Bilingualism (English French)
  • Experience in infrastructure automation with CI/CD framework
  • Provide technical support to customers using the products, solutions and application program interfaces (APIs) of the cloud platform
  • Experience in a hybrid cloud environment would be a plus
  • Azure certification(s) is a must
