Job Description

As a member of the Procurement Department, the successful candidate will be responsible of managing commercial contracts, maintaining great relationships with vendors as well as developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure the procurement department meets its goals and objectives.RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial contracts and vendor relationships within procurement team
  • Negotiation of agreements and other legal documents, setting the terms and conditions for the provision of products and services to Telecon
  • Optimizing the Telecons opportunities for improvements through costs reduction
  • Overall management of key outsourcing and sourcing arrangements to maximize value aligning with strategic evolution of supply chain and EBITDA objectives
  • Support the Procurement of Products and Services in an efficient and flexible manner, based on business needs and category management principles
  • Support strategic sourcing primes by assisting with spend analysis
  • Prepare / design presentation material for review at the senior management level
  • Continually identify leading practices from inside and outside for implementation/adoption
  • Lead sourcing initiatives utilizing systems in the distribution and management of RFI, RFQ and RFP
  • Drive total cost of ownership reduction, through joint process improvements with supplier
  • Re-negotiate contracts in those situations not addressed by ‘strategic initiatives’
  • Manage, perform quality control, and generate reports on spend data and other key indicators as required
  • Recommend, develop, coordinate, and implement best practice processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the work performed by Procurement
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor Degree in Administration or in another field or relevant experiences.
  • 3-5 years experiences in commodity management or procurement.
  • Experience in telecommunication or networking field is an asset
  • Organized, analytical, team player, results oriented
  • Proficiency with Excel and Office 365 tools.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Bilingual Englis/French
