Job Description

Under the supervision of the QA/Service Director, the Electronics Tecnician lnstrumentation Specialist is responsible for correct operation of CVT systems (Mirador, Thermoprofile) installed at customer location in North America. As part of the customer support department, he is in constant interaction with customers to assist. One part of his tasks is to prepare, install and verify systems at new or existing customers.The Instrumentation Specialist also plays a lead role in the validation of all new products – hardware and software. The lnstrumentation Specialist is relies upon to bring future product ideas to the forefront.Essential job functions:

  • ln constant interaction with customers, to assist them fixing issues or giving them responses concerning their questions about functionalities, good operation or more general aspects (calibration, ...).
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide support.
  • Recommend new solutions to customers.
  • Help in researching and developing new products.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
  • Preparation and installation of products at customer location. Execution of protocols to ensure functionality of systems (SAT, lQ)
  • Interaction with distributors to assist them with CVT products
  • Coordination with QA/QC/RC department to ensure/maintain quality of CVT products
  • Ensure all customers are receiving adequate and professional support
Prior Experience :
  • 2 year technical software and hardware experience
  • IT support experience
  • Audio-Visual Integration
  • Telecom Technician
Other skills required:
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP network
  • Bilingual
  • Technical background
  • Ability to build relationships with clients quickly
Must be able to travel across Canada and the United States whiout requiring to self-quarantine. Must be able to be able to work in Canada without sponsorship.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift

  • Anjou, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
