Its primary mission is to offer its customers fresh, diversified, quality produce year-round.We are currently looking for an Evening/Night Transportation Planner to join our transportation team in Anjou. Reporting to the Transport Forewoman, the incumbent will plan drivers #39; routes and equipment, optimizing movements to serve customers while respecting scheduled appointments, manage goods movements on the road in real time, and adjust according to situations encountered.Why join us

Working hours:2 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Sunday to Wednesday (Wednesday worked 1 week out of 2)OR2 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Wednesday to Saturday (Wednesdays 1 week out of 2)More specifically, the main responsibilities of the person in this position are :
  • Evaluate resource requirements (manpower and equipment), plan and adjust routes taking into account orders received and important parameters (volume, distances, products, time, etc.).
  • Plan drivers #39; schedules according to their availability, maximizing their movements.
  • Establish needs based on trends from previous weeks and years.
  • Prepare the next day #39;s truck availability with the transport division (mechanical workshop, SAAQ, etc.).
  • Identify incorrect cubic volumes and try to find a solution.
  • Ensure good communication of information with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Your profile and talentsEducation and experience :
  • 3 years #39; experience in transportation logistics;
  • AEC (combined with experience) or DEC or BACC in logistics;
  • Experience in the fruit and vegetable or agri-food sector (asset);
  • Ability to work with computer systems (Excel, Roadnet, Outlook, Omnitracs One, GEOTAB).
Skills and qualities required :
  • Good knowledge of the territory served;
  • Knowledge of transport regulations (law 430);
