Provide care & guidance to preschool children. Plan, organize and lead children in activities to stimulate & develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth. Assess the skills, abilities, interests and needs of children. Guide and assist children in the development of self-help skills. Snack preparation, light housekeeping, including maintaining child care equipment.ECE level II - applicants require a minimum of two years post-secondary education specific to early childhood education at an approved institution. First Aid & CPR. Must work well as a member of a team and work well independently. Must possess initiative, good communication skills, decision making & problem solving skills. Must have patience, be enthusiastic and enjoy working with children. A satisfactory child abuse registry check and a criminal records check are conditions of employment. . Child Care Assistants are encouraged to apply and may be considered. CCA must complete a 40-hour post-secondary course in early childhood development within the first year of employment.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $16.05-$23.32 per hourSchedule:
