We are looking for ambitious, curious, creative individuals, who are continuously growing to join our team of Vidir Hero’s.The Opportunity :Become a Vidir Hero at our Arborg, MANITOBA facility, we are seeking a:Team Leader – PaintSummary:The Team Leader is primarily responsible to lead, plan, organize, monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure that the outputs meet production schedules as well as safety and quality standards.The Team Leader will work closely with the Superintendent of Fabrication and Production Manager to ensure that the Lean manufacturing goals are achieved.Through the effective management of targets, goals and production efficiencies the Team Leader will ensure the ongoing success of the production team by improving throughput and other in-house processes with the objective of reducing costs and enhancing customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, organize and control processes to ensure lean manufacturing goals are achieved by coordinating and overseeing employee work assignments and projects and establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinate schedules with other departments

• Direct, train, monitor, coach and develop team members.

• Coordinate with other Team Leaders to obtain maximum use of all resources

• Coordinate with Production Supervisor and Engineering Department to develop and introduce new products into production.

• Ensure all employees are following proper safety rules and regulations as per company policy and the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

• All Leaders drive safety excellence by demonstrating leadership accountabilities under Vidir’s Safety Management System.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing/mechanics/machining

• Possess excellent communication and leadership skills

• Possess organizational and time management skills

• Possess in-depth knowledge of performance metrics
