We make products you use every day – allergy medications, ear and eye drops, and other commercially available pharma products. And we do it all from our award-winning facility in Arnprior. The demand for our services continues to increase – driving continued growth. This growth created the need for this newly created position. We are currently looking for a Contract Recruiter.ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of our small HR team you will own the recruiting process, ensuring Pillar5 meets all staffing requirements. It’s not just about the quantity of hire, but also about the quality of people joining our team. The role will ensure the identification, screening, and interviewing of candidates for all roles within the organization – production, lab, and back-office roles. Other duties include:Using existing tools, review resumes we already have on fileIncrease the flow of qualified candidates for our open positionsIdentify, propose, and implement alternative recruitment models/approaches. We’re open to anything to find the best possible candidates.Conduct interviews (phone, video, live) to assess candidates and provide input into hiring decisionsQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following profile:Degree/diploma/designation in Human Resources (or related discipline)Demonstrated strong work ethic and research skillsOutstanding communication skills – both oral and writtenNot afraid to pick up the phone and talk to total strangers about their work experienceHighly creative – we want someone who will challenge the way we currently recruit
