Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Leader, this role is responsible for conducting line clearances, start-up inspections, line audits and periodic line checks of the packaging and manufacturing operations in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.ResponsibilitiesConducts line clearances, start-up inspections, line audits and periodic line checks of the packaging andmanufacturing operationsPerforms in-process testing of solid dosage forms (tablets & capsules) during manufacturingPerforms aspects of sampling, inspections, sterile techniques and environmental monitoring of the Aseptic filling areaConducts sampling of raw materials, in-process bulks and incoming semi-finished goodsMaintains control of all retain samples at the Arnprior siteLeads the execution and documentation of on-line investigationsMonitors/audits in-process batch records and other documentation deviations observed in the course of line inspectionsInteracts with other teams to resolve filling, packaging and manufacturing issuesConducts ANSI standard inspections and investigationsProvides technical expertise in problem solving on lineEvaluates and writes standard operating proceduresProvides QA support for all Manufacturing initiativesQualificationsExperience in packaging and aseptic processingKnowledge of Quality Assurance principles and current Good Manufacturing PracticesExperience in the use and understanding of ANSI/ASQC Sampling Plans and Inspections by AttributesExperience in Statistical Process ControlKnowledgeable in the functional requirements of packaging components and testing equipmentAdvanced computer skillsGood team player with a positive attitude and cooperative approachExcellent oral and written communication, organizational and decision-making skillsAbility to work all required shifts
