Job Description

Temporary AssignmentReporting to the PPIC & Customer Service Manager, the Warehouse Person performs all warehouse functions including (but not limited to) receiving, storage, issuing, shipping of all goods and materials, housekeeping and computer entries.Responsibilities

  • Unloading and physical inspection of goods to be received
  • Verification of incoming goods against the waybill
  • Picking and staging of job orders
  • Consolidation of inventory
  • Transferring of WIP/Finished Goods to the warehouse
  • Cycle Counts
  • Disposal of garbage
  • Pharmaceutical waste control, including handling and storage
  • Supports all warehouse functions and assist as required due to increased workload and/or staffing shortages.
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 diploma, post secondary education is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience using a forklift
  • Dangerous Goods Certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with a team as well as independently
  • Proven ability to achieve common objectives in a team environment
