Job Description

Southland Co-operative Ltd. is hiring a Grocery Manager at our Assiniboia Food Store in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. Who we are:Co-op does business differently.   • Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory and execute sales strategies that support Southland’s vision.
  • Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, develop, coach and motivate department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.

  • You have a Grade 12 education
  • You have 3 + years of retail experience with at least one year of leadership experience.
  • You’re familiar with building a team environment and leading others
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
