World Class Manufacturing is a journey and it’s our talented people who lead us on this journey.Role SummaryMagna’s Financial Reporting Systems department is currently responsible for the management and support of the Hyperion suite of applications used by Magna’s global finance users to prepare and present consolidated financial information for both internal and external users. We are in the process of transitioning to OneStream for Financial Close and Consolidation, Month End Close and Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting. This position will fill a support role in the Financial Reporting Systems department, assisting with OneStream security access, reports and end user support. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with user security access in all Financial Reporting applications
  • Assist with creating OneStream reports
  • Provide first level OneStream support to end users
  • Assist OneStream administrator with quarterly metadata updates
  • Focus on process controls and data integrity in all tasks
  • Manage workload/priorities to meet deadlines
  • Special projects/other tasks as assigned
Key Qualifications/RequirementsKnowledge and Education:
  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance or IT or equivalent
  • OneStream or HFM application knowledge an asset (OneStream preferred)
Work Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a Finance system support role
Skills and Competencies:
  • Very good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Customer service oriented, establishing solid working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ability to listen, communicate and follow up effectively with all customers (corporate finance team, group finance teams, management, IT, external software providers)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgement
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently, adapting to new requests as required
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
  • Positive attitude
  • Proficient in relevant computer software - Microsoft Office, PowerBI
