We strive to offer a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment that helps our employees expand their careers and reach their highest potential.Summary: As a Junior Planner for Production and Materials, you will be responsible for materials planning, production scheduling, and inventory control to meet customer demands in a high-mixamp; low volume manufacturing environment.What You #39;ll Do:

  • Create and conduct production schedules in the ERP system to satisfy Customers and Internal demands while optimizing production resources and inventory as well.
  • Maintain the master production schedules and participate in weekly scheduling meetings to review/reschedule the available materials and capacities.
  • Liaise between Customer Service/Internal Customers and Production regarding delivery commitments for all demands.
  • Maintain adequate inventory level to ensure steady production within the inventory targets; monitor materials flow and demanding history to identify bottlenecks and forecast issues.
  • Analyze inventory and demand trends to prioritize or reschedule manufacturing orders in association with materials/services delivery schedules.
  • Upload Bill of Materials into ERP system and set up/update BOM cost.
  • Assist in physical inventory count.
  • Assist with the implementation of changes to improve inventory accuracy including but not limited to warehouse management, workflow monitoring, capacity planning, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You #39;ll Bring:
  • Knowledge of MPS/MRP, Demand Flow, Forecasting, Inventory Planning, and Supply Chain pipelining required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, specifically in production scheduling or planning preferred.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central will be an asset.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet).
  • Supply chain designation (CSCMP, CIM, etc.) or working towards.
  • Detailed oriented and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication skills.
