Join Our Team as a Primary/Junior/Intermediate Tutor at Scholars Education Centre - Aurora!Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and helping students excel Scholars Education Centre - Aurora is looking for enthusiastic Primary, Junior, and Intermediate Tutors to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in students #39; lives while working in a supportive and vibrant environment!Why You #39;ll Love Working with Us:

  • Flexible Scheduling: Teach during our core hours of Mon-Fri 4-8 pm and Sat 10 am-2 pm.
  • Supportive Team: Join a collaborative and energetic team dedicated to student success.
  • No Prep Work: Focus solely on teaching with all materials provided.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Curriculum Expertise: Ability to teach Language and Math for students from JK to Grade 8. OCT certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Experienced Educators: Background in tutoring or mentoring with at least 1 year of practical experience.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent ability to convey concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Friendly and Approachable: Must be warm, easy-going, yet assertive when needed.
  • Multi-tasking Skills: Comfortable working with up to 2 students simultaneously.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
  • Local Applicants: Candidates must reside in Aurora, Ontario, Canada or surrounding areas for in-person teaching.
Your Role:
  • Provide personalized one-on-one or small group tutoring using provided materials – no preparation required.
  • Focus on engaging directly with students, with no involvement in parent or administrative tasks.
  • Assess student work and provide meaningful feedback to support their academic growth.
