Leave your ego at the door, because at Techo-Bloc we are all equals!Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Leader for our Ayr plant. The Manager is responsible for organizing and supervising the manufacturing process. They are responsible for the proper functioning of the production lines and the quality of the product.

  • Enforce health and safety precautions and actively participate to Health & Safety committee;
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.);
  • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.);
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets;
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines;
  • Monitor production to resolve issues;
  • Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.;
  • Ensure output meets quality standards;
  • Establish the production objectives (KPI’s);
  • Communicate, on a regular basis, to all employees
  • Actively participate in the planning and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
  • BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred;
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience a supervisory role;
  • Knowledge of SMED, 5S and Kaizen;
  • Deep knowledge of production management;
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations;
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts;
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics;
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software;
  • Outstanding communication ability;
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg).
