For its Baie-Sainte-Anne and Bay du Vin site (NB), Berger is looking for a Health and Safety Technician interested in strengthening the implementation of strategic prevention programs in terms of health and safety at work. You will be the key contact person for teams on the field with whom you will work closely on a daily basis. Without a doubt, great challenges await you in a company that focuses on the deployment of a strong health and safety culture.OVERVIEW OF THE WORK:

  • Ensure that current health and safety regulations are applied and complied with;
  • Participate in the inspection and evaluation of work locations and workstations and be able to identify the situations likely to be sources of danger;
  • Follow up on accident reports and participate in various investigations;
  • Training employees in terms of OHS procedures and working methods;
  • Guide supervisors in their day-to-day management of all aspects of OHS.
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
  • You hold a degree in environment, occupational health and safety or any other relevant training as well as 3 to 5 years of experience;
  • A university degree in OHS is an asset;
  • You are fluent in French and English;
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and your sense of priorities is one of your strength);
  • You like the idea of acting as an agile and influential collaborator.
