Job Description

The OpportunityGuy J. Bailey Limited is looking for dedicated apprentice Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to work full time under the direct supervision of the Trucking Superintendent. The job location is in Baie Verte, NL at the Heavy Duty Mechanic Garage. We offer competitive wages & benefits and rotational schedule.The Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair and servicing of mobile heavy equipment;
  • Investigate technical errors;
  • Communicate repairs and findings back to the Journeyperson;
  • Learn from the Journeypersons;
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment;
  • All other duties associated with role.
The Requirements
  • Apprentice Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certificate;
  • Safety Certifications (Standard First Aid is considered an asset);
  • Truck and Trailer Experience considered an asset;
  • Valid Class 5 License
The successful applicant will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, displaying strong communication and interpersonal skills.
