Summary: Reporting to the Group Sales Manager Fishing/Camping, the Fishing Outfitter will work within a team to create a world class shopping experience for our customers by maintaining the visual presentation standards of the department, and providing exceptional product knowledge and customer service.Responsibilities: · Provide legendary customer service by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, and making product recommendations based off of this analysis· Promote Bass Pro Shop’s programs including the customer satisfaction survey, in-store-pick-up, and the Bass Pro Shop’s Outdoor Fund.· Maintain visual presentation standards including visual merchandising displays, in-store signage, merchandise recovery, front facing, restocking, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed· Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope· Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle· Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictateQualifications: · Knowledge of various fishing products, including rods, reels, tackle, and accessories· One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred· High school diploma or equivalent is preferred· Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs· Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations· Ability to use good judgment and logic· Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle· Knowledge of Bass Pro Shop’s specific products is an assetWe thank all applicants for their interest in employment opportunities with Bass Pro; however only those selected for interviews will be contacted.Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 12-24 per weekSalary: From $15.25 per hourBenefits:
