We have an opening for Maintenance Planner based just outside of Calgary, this role will be a great fit for a person interested in planning and coming up with innovative solutions to complex issues who feels passionately about this vision and wants to be a part of a fast-paced environment.What You'll be doing:Plan work orders in the SAP planning backlog based on priorities set by operations coordinatorsEnsure all safety concerns are addressed (life critical, energy isolation requirements, PPE, etc.)Conduct regular Inspection of crane & lifting devicesManage predictive maintenance programs (oil sampling, vibration monitoring, etc)Schedule quarterly GT boroscopes and associated PM activitiesResponsible for Plan shutdowns and turnarounds. Management and creation of shut down scheduleResponsible for Maintenance of off-site services (repairs and services) and on-site services (contractors, outside services, regular/as needed)Manage outside contractors & material/equipment requirementsCoordinate Inspections and ABSA work plansLiaise with area equipment specialists regarding equipment issuesSupport Plant Optimization & Reliability initiativesParticipate in monthly safety inspectionsWe’d love to hear from you if you:Strong knowledge of Turnaround/Maintenance PlanningStrong written and verbal communication skillsSuperb organizational skillsAbility to interpret, evaluate and apply regulations, policies and procedures to a wide variety of work situationsAbility to read drawings and interpret specificationsDisplays a safe and productive work ethicStrong knowledge and understanding of software specifically MS projects and/or PrimaveraHigh School Diploma. Preference given to candidates with post-secondary educationJourneyman Pipefitter or Journeyman Electrician preferred.
