In this role you will be responsible for fulfilling data requests. You will work with stakeholders throughout DHW, the broader health sector, and other departments or agencies to translate their business requirements into the final data extract.In this role you will be responsible for the creation of data extracts to meet client requirements, including explanatory notes. You will work closely with the Manager, Data Services, to ensure clients are satisfied with the final product. This role enables you to have a contributory impact on the health system, facilitating evidence-based decision making to enhance health system planning and management.You will formulate the information requests; perform queries and data extraction from relevant databases, checking data quality; analysis and modelling; interpreting the data; preparing reports and basic data visualization; and presenting the information and findings for administrative and operational decision making.Primary AccountabilitiesIn this role, your key responsibilities will involve the creation and review of data extracts to fulfill client requirements. You will ensure the process and program code is well documented for future reference and replication. You will work with the Manager, Data Services, to ensure accuracy of the output and regulatory reporting requirements are met.You will achieve this by:
