Central Veterinary Clinic (Bashaw) is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, professional individual to join our newly expanded and renovated Bashaw mixed animal practice as a full-time receptionist. The successful applicant will have outstanding communications and time management skills, while thriving in a fast-paced environment. The resourceful team player will be responsible for but not limited to answering a multi-line phone system, booking appointments/client communication, admitting patients for appointments (including taking medical histories and maintaining patient files), invoicing clients/OTC sales, maintaining a clean environment in the reception area and exam rooms, some inventory tasks as well as many other background duties that must be completed daily. Heavy lifting will also be required as needed. Applicant must be available for work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. These hours are non-negotiable. Training for this position will take place in both our Ponoka location, then move to our Bashaw loacation. Completion of a Veterinary Medical Receptionist (VMR) program or equivalent and basic knowledge of companion animals and livestock would be an asset but is not required.
