Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and LabourCALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTERESTPay Band 4WORKPLACE ESSENTIAL SKILLS PROGRAM OFFICEROne-year opportunity with possibility of renewalBathurst or CampbelltonThe Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour is seeking an individual to join the WorkingNB Branch as a Workplace Essential Skills (WES) Program Officer in the Bathurst or Campbellton office.As a member of the regional working team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the promotion, delivery and monitoring of the WES program. Duties are, but are not limited to preparing applications; negotiating and monitoring contracts; helping employers to evaluate their human resource needs; responding to inquiries on the WES program; and participating in employment development activities with communities, interest groups and representatives from provincial, municipal and federal governments.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelors degree in Education, Business Administration, Public Administration or a similar field and a minimum of four (4) years related work experience. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite is essential. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
