The casual home care nurse position promotes health and healing and provides education as a member of the health care team to achieve optimum care for clients in all phases of health care.QUALIFICATIONS* Registered Nurse in good standing (or eligible to become registered) with Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or Saskatchewan Licensed Practical Nurse Association.* Home Care nursing experience in First Nations community an asset.* Must be self-directed and demonstrate organizational skills.* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.* Valid Class 5 Drivers License* Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures. * Knowledge of Plains Cree Language is a definite asset.* Must provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
