Job Description

Atlantic Grocery Distributors - Now Hiring Produce Repack Room Worker/CullerAtlantic Grocery Distributors, one of Newfoundland and Labradors fastest growing companies is now hiring! We offer competitive wages, benefits/pension package, full time hours and are continuously looking for new members to join our outstanding team.Job Responsibilities:

  • Select and pack merchandise in a fast and efficient manner to meet and/or exceed production standards
  • Culling of produce
  • Ensure the correct merchandise is shipped to the correct store based on the store orders and meet and/or exceed set quality standards
  • Breaking down of products into single/multiple quantities; making boxes for various product
  • Operate equipment and/or use pick documents in order to process store orders
  • Communicate effectively with Repack sign out clerk in order to maintain a consistent workflow
  • Monitor equipment in order to maintain production workflow and minimize downtime
  • Maintain safe, clean and organized work environment to meet set company safety policies
  • Other related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to regularly walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Will involve frequent repetitive hand actions
  • Will be required to reach above shoulder height and below waist level
  • Ability to work in different temperature zones
Required Qualifications:
  • Highly motivated, self-starter
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet timeline
  • Must have good working knowledge of food quality, hygiene and sanitation
