Job Description

Job descriptionPosition Summary: Hey Bud is a cannabis retailer that has recently opened in Beamsville. We are looking to hire staff that will ensure the success of our store from day one. We are currently looking for a Budtender to join our growing team. Budtenders are the face of our business. You are the first and last person customers see upon entering and leaving our store and first impressions count. Our budtenders are responsible for the customer experience from start to finish. Our goal is to leave a lasting impression and create repeat customers. Our budtenders achieve this by being friendly, knowledgeable, fun and attentive.Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets every customer and makes them feel welcomed;
  • Uses product knowledge to convert customer needs into sales;
  • Processes payments, refunds and exchanges using the retail stores Point of Sale (POS) system;
  • Answers incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner;
  • Participates in inventory counting and reconciliation;
  • Adheres to established protocols and lost prevention policies;
  • Ensures the store always remains clean and presentable; and
  • Ad hoc job duties as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: · A passion for all things cannabis related;· Minimum high school diploma (Required);· Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under little supervision;· The ability to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment;· The ability to communicate effectively and clearly;· Basic computer and social media literacy;· A go getter that takes initiative and brings ideas to the team;· Cansell Certification preferred but not required to apply;· Criminal Record Check required;· The ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.Expected start date: As soon as possible.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $15.00-$17.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:Following public health guidelinesJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $15.00-$17.00 per hourSchedule:
