Summary:Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the Retail Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful day to day operation of a retail store department.Responsibilities:- Provide supervision and leadership to the team members of the department, in partnership with the manager- Delegate tasks and work assignment to team members by giving clear and concise direction, and follow up to ensure proper execution- Foster the growth and development of team members by training various standard operating procedures and processes- Ensure team members follow all standard operating procedures and systems processes, following up to provide correction and guidance when needed, and reporting violations to the manager- Perform administrative tasks related to their assigned department- Provide legendary customer service by identifying and evaluating customers #39; needs, and making product recommendations based off this analysis- Promote company programs to team members and customers- Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed- Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope- Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictateQualifications:- Two or more years of supervisory experience in a sales or service environment is preferred- Open availability - this position will be required to work store opening and closing shifts, as well as on weekends- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred- Ability to evaluate customers #39; needs and make recommendations based on needs- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer #39;s expectations- Ability to use good judgment and logic- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shopsamp; Cabela #39;s specific products is an assetBass Pro Shopsamp; Cabela #39;s welcomes applications from people with disabilities.Accommodations are available upon request during the assessment and selection process.Benefits- Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, our restaurants, world-class resorts and conservation attractions!- Fun work environment- Competitive wages- Excellent benefits- Unlimited career advancement opportunities- Bass Pro Cares FundCabela #39;sAbout Bass Pro ShopsBass Pro Shops (http://www.basspro.com/) is North America #39;s premier outdoor and conservation company.
