We work together with our ownership, communities, stakeholders and industry partners to strengthen Indigenous employee relationships.Job PurposeThe Human Resources Advisor works in a collaborative environment and is responsible for supporting a wide variety of human resources activities and general office functions. The human resources advisor supports the human resources director and senior advisor as directed and responds to general questions about human resources programs, policies and procedures, redirecting as appropriate. This position handles highly sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis. Primary ResponsibilitiesData Administration

  • Enter data into the human resources management information systems.
  • Maintain human resources spreadsheets and statistics.
  • Prepare various correspondence or reports.
  • Ensure organizational charts are continually updated and accurate.
  • Maintain filing systems by scanning, indexing, and setting up paper and digital files for new employees.
Recruitment and Retention
  • Post vacancies and ensure communication materials are continually updated and current.
  • Pre-screen applicants
  • Confirm interviews.
  • Arrange accommodation, pre-employment screenings, etc.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Arrange and/or conduct exit interviews.
  • Ensure probation evaluation forms are completed and confirmation letters are provided to employees.
Benefits Administration
  • Collaborate directly with the human resources administrator to facilitate group benefit and workers compensation processes.
  • Assist in administering the employee relations program and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and application of group benefits processes and other benefits provided by the company.
Human Resources Administration
  • Answer or redirect inquiries from employees regarding policies and procedures or collective agreement provisions as appropriate.
  • Participate in the development and completion of and the maintenance of various human resources reports and surveys.
  • Aid employees with respect to immigration processes, specifically Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program and (SINP) and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applications.
  • Provide back-up support to the human resources administrator for the following:
    • Proximity cards.
    • Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) applications.
    • Airside Vehicle Operator #39;s Permit (AVOP) applications.
    • New Hire Enrollment form.
General Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the company #39;s vision, mission, and values.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in training and other educational opportunities.
  • Protect Company values by keeping information confidential.
  • Participate in organizational development and professional growth opportunities as directed and/or required.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety programs to promote an incident and injury free culture.
QualificationsTypically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include completion of an undergraduate degree or diploma in human resources combined with two to three years experience working in a group benefits or human resources environment. Experience in aviation is an asset.
