In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityOur Saskatoon office is looking for an Insolvency Advisor to join the Personal Debt Solution team. This role requires an in office presence.Additionally, the successful candidate would own the following responsibilities:

  • Assist debtors and creditors, both in person and by telephone, as it relates to bankruptcies and proposals
  • Perform initial consultations in order to assess the debtor #39;s situation and recommend appropriate options, training will be provided
  • Review interview forms, prepare files/documents for client signing
  • Community outreach, business development and presentations

Your experience and education
  • Experience in an insolvency type role, or in a financial advisory role with a financial institution would be considered an asset
  • Willingness to complete or have completed the BIA Administrator Insolvency Course
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage multiples tasks and a variable workload as required
  • Must be able to liaise well with staff and outside parties
  • Willingness to travel to Newfoundland for 2 weeks for training (expenses paid by BDO)
