As ATB #39;s next Researchamp; Insights Analyst, you #39;ll be an integral part of ATB Wealth #39;s Growth and Innovation team. We #39;re a new strategic team inside ATB #39;s Wealth Management division providing vital insights to drive business strategy, innovation and growth. You #39;ll work to uncover critical information about target firms, teams and/or individuals that represent an opportunity for ATB to improve our market position and value proposition through inorganic growth. In this role, you #39;ll help tell the story by diving deep into research, synthesizing insights and translating the opportunity in a clear, organized story framework so that our business partners and senior leaders can make decisions based on the best and most up-to-date knowledge.Accountabilities:
  • Utilize strong research skills to deepen our understanding of target firms, teams and/or individuals that represent an inorganic growth opportunity for ATB.
  • Dive into internal and external data sources (e.g., annual reports, social media, compliance reports, etc.) to develop a comprehensive understanding of our targets #39; history including but not limited to: service models, differentiation, locations, key people and potential risks.
  • Gather insights and uncover additional important factors related to ESG, diversity and inclusion, compliance or legal histories that would be valuable to consider.
  • Apply critical thinking and analysis to uncover new opportunities for consideration in Wealth Management and beyond.
  • Scan and analyze the competitive environment, identifying industry trends that may impact opportunities.
  • Combine quantitative and qualitative analysis and research findings into actionable insights.
  • Translate complex concepts and data-based findings into digestible briefings for diverse audiences via written reports, engaging presentations, and easy to use dashboards.
  • Work closely with team members in analytical, research and strategy development roles to drive business results.
