Temporary Cleaner 2Parrishamp; Heimbecker Join our team that shares your Passionamp; Heart for Canadian agriculture! Parrishamp; Heimbecker, Limited (P amp;H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Temporary Cleaner 2 for our Milling division based in Saskatoon, SK.This position will have an end date of December 31, 2023.P amp;H MillingP amp;H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P amp;H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Montreal, Quebec; Acton, Hanover, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P amp;H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries.Wage Wage: $19.33 per hourDay to Day

  • Perform cleaning duties in specific areas including Packing, Warehouse, Flour Mill and Elevator. Maintain housekeeping areas by sweeping and vacuuming.
  • At start of your shift in your designated area, you will be required to assess priorities with a general walk through of the area.
  • Responsible for garbage disposal in all departments and dumping of RTM when needed.
  • Will be required to respond to the daily cleaning of unusual situations.
  • Ensure the Master Cleaning Schedule documents are completed on a daily basis.
  • Provide backup coverage to other departments, as required and a qualification basis.
  • Responsible for adhering to all environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, and directives.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent (e.g. GED 12);
  • Must be physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, pull up to 25lbs and lift to 50lbs. Your work environment is subject to heat, humidity, and dust allergens.
  • Must be dependable and flexible in scheduling with the ability to work shift work, including weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form in English.
  • Must be positive, professional and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices.
