If you think you have what it takes to join our team, we want to meet you!Position:Full-Time Security SupervisorSite:Belleville General Hospital - 265 Dundas St EHours:Continental Rotation - 0800-2000/2000-0800Payrate:$21.85/hourSchedule Example:Week 1 - Days - Mon-Tues, Fri-SatWeek 2 - Days - Sun, Wed-ThuWeek 3 - Nights - Mon-Tues, Fri-SatWeek 4 - Nights - Sun, Wed-ThuPlease note: All applicants must be able to commit to a Continental Rotation schedule for no less than 6 months in order to qualify for this positionReporting to the Site Manager, the Security Supervisor will be responsible for running the shift, ensuring the shift runs smoothly following guidelines set out in the Post Orders, by the client and the Security Manager, communicating with the Operations team to ensure shifts are covered, and compiling shift reports for management.Major Responsibilities Performing patrolsEnsuring completion of all shift paperworkEnsuring all work assigned to the shift in completed: patrols, audits, etc.Training of new staffScheduling replacement staff when someone books off at the last minutes or calls in sick.Review all paperwork from the shift.Ensuring all Incident Reports are completedamp; review them.Key AuditsSupervising emergency situations: Fire, Flood, Power Outage, etc.Completing all other assigned tasks.Required Qualifications:Valid Ontario Security Guard License.Must have 2 years of security experience (commercial, residential, etc.) or 1 year healthcare security experienceMust have 6+ months of security supervisory experience, or equivalentIntermediate proficiency with technologyamp; softwareFirst Aidamp; CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)Proof of (minimum) double COVID-19 vaccinationA copy of your Immunization Records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, TB Tests, etc.) requiredFluency in English (verbalamp; written) requiredFluency in French (verbalamp; written) is considered an assetMust have a reliable vehicle in good repairMust be able to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit TestAble to commute to Kingston for 3 days of in-class trainingWhy Choose PaladinExtensive Paid Industry Leading TrainingOpportunities for Growthamp; AdvancementBenefitsFree UniformsAnnual Boot AllowanceSecurity License ReimbursementDrycleaning/Hemming AllowancePaid Vacation and Paid Sick DaysAdditional Perks!
