On behalf of our client here in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Chief Technology Officer for a full-time opportunity. Role: We #39;re searching for a visionary and driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a pivotal leadership role. As the CTO, you #39;ll lead our talented product and development teams, shaping Client #39;s technological direction and strategy. Your key responsibilities include steering our company roadmap, ensuring our products stand out at the cutting edge of innovation, and spearheading the integration of AI into our operations. Additionally, you #39;ll be pivotal in identifying fresh product opportunities. • Technical Leadership: Provide visionary technical leadership for the organization, ensuring alignment with the company #39;s overall goals and objectives.
• Strategic Growth: Contribute to client #39;s growth strategy, capitalizing on the company’s strong financial position and forecasting +100% revenue growth for 2024.
• Product Innovation: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and pursue new product opportunities, staying ahead of industry trends and customer demands.
• Roadmap Delivery: Develop and execute the company #39;s technology roadmap, translating business objectives into actionable plans.
• AI Integration: Spearhead the integration of AI technologies into our day-to-day operations, driving automation, predictive analytics and machine learning applications and improving efficiency and enhancing product offerings.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Stay informed about emerging threats and proactively address security challenges.
• Team Management: Manage and mentor high-performing cross-functional teams, including product and development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning and improvement.
• Performance-Driven Approach: Implement performance metrics and KPIs to drive accelerated development and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Financial Accountability: Manage and optimize technology budgets and resources to achieve cost-effectiveness.
• Dynamic Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, adapting to changing priorities and market conditions.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of successfully managing product and development teams in a SaaS environment. Experience in the development and maintenance of iOS and Web based applications and knowledge of the mining industry is a bonus.
• Extensive experience in senior technology leadership roles, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.
• Strong background in integrating AI technologies into business operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
• Performance-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Previous experience optimizing the productivity of software development teams is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent skills in building and nurturing relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Previous experience in a Series A or growth-stage company is a plus.
• Bachelor #39;s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
