Job Description

AVRCE Spare Cafeteria Worker January 2022 Spare Cafeteria WorkerHours of work: As needed basisRate of pay as per CUPE Collective Agreement ($13.11)Under the direction of the Principal, the successful candidate for this position will be required to perform a wide variety of cafeteria duties.Qualifications and Abilities:

  • The successful candidate must be physically able to perform duties.
  • Possess the knowledge experience in food preparation and menu preparation.
  • Must be organized and have clean work habits.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
  • Cooking, baking and preparation of food.
  • Selling canteen items at recess and noon.
  • Kitchen duties (stocking shelves, cleaning dishes, etc)
  • Support school recycling program, keeping daily accounts and inventory control and cashier, as required.
