Job Description

Berwick Home Hardware located in the Annapolis Valley has an immediate opening for a PAINT SALES ASSOCIATE. In this position the ideal candidate will be part of an experienced Home Hardware Sales Team, primarily responsible for serving our valuable contractors and customers. The ideal candidate would have previous experience and knowledge of a wide variety of painting applications. They would also help to create the best possible service and product selections for our customers. This candidate will also be tasked with giving the best color and paint selection advise.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee the paint department
  • Display of product
  • Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice.
  • Report directly to the Store Manager.
  • Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
  • Actively participate in continual training and education of the paint department.
  • Uphold merchandise and store cleanliness standards.
  • Restock shelves and display areas after product has been received.
  • Answer customers questions while giving expert advice
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority.
  • Work closely with other instore employees to assist customers in other areas as required.
  • Prepare invoices, quotes, maintain sales records for inventory control.

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $13.35-$15.00 per hourBenefits:
