Job Description

CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 and Class 3 drivers at our Estevan, SK location! If you enjoy variety and want to learn and gain experience working on different pieces of equipment every day, apply now!What We Offer:

Key Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment, wet vacuum trucks, water trucks and various specialty tools
  • 90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground!
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment - our experienced crew has your back
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
  • Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
  • Provide guidance to Laborers as required
  • Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 1 or 3A licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
  • Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 speed, doesn #39;t matter you will pass CEDA #39;s driver assessment with flying colours)
  • Experience with Hot Oilers is an asset
  • Experience in an industrial environment is an asset
  • Having a Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT) certification is an asset
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Able to travel throughout Saskatchewan (flexibility in scheduling is required)
Skills:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Very comfortable with manual transmissions
  • Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
  • Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
