With over six decades of expertise in civil, commercial, industrial, institutional, and high-rise residential construction, our client is a reputable company recognized for delivering quality work on time and within budget. As the on-site Quantity Surveyor, prepare BOQs (bill of quantities) and estimates for major projects such as luxury condominiums, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, schools, car dealerships, and more. MISSIONThe Pod Group is partnering with this company to place an organized and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to prepare the “Bill of Quantities”, which lists the individual components required to construct projects.PRIORITIES

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and project site visits.
  • Analyze and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Perform quantity take off of construction documents in its entirety.
  • Assemble project cost estimates.
  • Call and solicit trades for tender.
  • Complete additional and ad-hoc projects and duties as required.
RequirementsTALENTSamp; EXPERTISE
  • Experience in construction estimating.
  • Ability to handle several estimates at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and work as a team member.
