Our talented and experienced team is committed to delivering world-class solutions to help our clients maximize production, mitigate risk and avoid costly outages, always with safety top of mind.We are committed to putting the right people, in the right place, at the right time while offering an inclusive work environment, opportunities for professional development, a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, CEDA has opportunities for you!CEDA is looking to hire one Journeyman Pipefitters for our Bonnyville mechanical division, working in the Conklin AB area.What We Offer:Rate of pay $46.00 per hourShift is 7X7 with 12 hour days Stay in one of the nicest camps aroundFull benefitsamp; matching pension contributions starting on your first day!A small and cohesive team that makes a welcoming environment where the shifts fly byKey Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps)Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded jointsLiaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliersRead and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirementsCut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machinesMeasure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power toolsInstall supports, valves, piping and control systemsTest system for leaks using testing equipmentOther duties as assignedRole Specifications:Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter required (Red Seal preferred)2+ years experience on long term maintenance at plant sites Valid CSO (Common Safety Orientation)amp; H2S Alive are requiredFirst Aid, Confined Space, Fall Arrest and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certifications are considered an assetAble to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol testSkills:You’re happy working as part of a team and comfortable working independently on various projects in the shopReceptive to change - can adapt to changing circumstancesAble to perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipmentAble to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol testThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.They are not intended to be an exhausted list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.To learn more, please also visit our page to view upcoming job fairs and events or follow us on Facebook.
