Our client in the industrial manufacturing space is looking for a technically knowledgeable and experienced person to work alongside as well as supervise a small team of technicians.The ideal candidate will be someone who still likes to be on the tools, but also has the attitude and mentality to be a leader with the desire to grow the business and grow with the business. You’ll be working on-site at their facility. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday working dayshift. Overtime will be on occasion and dependent on projects and business needs.Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. If you’re ready for that next step in your career with a growing company, Apply Now!What you’ll be doing:-Oversee and manage the team of technicians and the division-Work in collaboration with other managers to strategize growth opportunities-Promote the business and foster relationships with existing clients and prospective clients-Scheduling and planning to manage shop and projects-Budgeting -Provide technical support, expertise, training and other resources to technicians -Troubleshooting and inspection of various electronic components including motors, submersible motors, and pumps-Mount motors and pumps to skids and pump packages-Electric motor repairs and rewinds-Provide support and knowledge to the sales team-Safety focused and promote that culture to the team-Knowledge of industry standards and practicesQUALIFICATIONS-Electronic Motor Systems certification or Millwright trade ticket an asset (but not required)-Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and ideally working with electronic equipment including motors (doing motor rewinds) and pumps -Proven leadership and supervisory experience-Commissioning/QAQC -Ability to multitask is paramount and able to pick up new technologies quickly and subsequently train the technicians on them will be a huge asset -Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)-Legally entitled to work in Canada
