An exciting new opportunity in a brand new building overlooking the water in Huntsville!If you like working in a team building atmosphere where people enjoy working in a positive and rewarding environment.Do you have a passion for maintenance and housekeeping workDo you know how to lead a small teamWe have an Environmental Service Manager position open at the NEW OPENING Muskoka Landings Retirement Lodge, ONWe are looking for a dynamic Environmental Service Manager who will do the maintenance work and run all managerial duties for the housekeeping department at our new Muskoka site.Come and join our team!!The maintenance work will include;lawn care such as, painting suites, carpentry work, fixing drywall, installing cabinets and curtains, cleaning carpets, refreshing rooms and small interior projects.This role will be expected to complete the Preventative Maintenance Program which will entail an understanding and troubleshooting a geothermal system. This role also will include an understanding of the HVAC, sprinkler and electrical systems overview along with troubleshooting issues.The role is full-time working.The successful candidate will also oversee the housekeeping department. They will have to schedule, complete payroll, order products from preferred sources and conduct all managerial duties for the department including HR practices just as firing and hiring and keeping employee files in proper order. This role will also require the manager to fill in for the housekeepers when on vacation or coverage is unavailable.This position has great potential for anyone looking to get into management.
